After travelling the world, Louise Kingston returned to her roots in Inchydoney with her partner John and set up home. Inspired by a million memories and happy days on Inchydoney beach, Louise started Inchydoney Candles by making up small batches in an old beautiful cowshed that came with their house.
Since those early days, Louise has added soaps, lotions, drawer liners and hanging satchets to her product range. Embracing the pandemic, she introduced a hand sanitiser and set up shop when many others were forced to do the opposite.
In this episode, we discuss the strong coastal influence on her products and brand, a mother’s influence, how the Popes visit and The Late Late show gave her unexpected sales boosts and how covid has helped shape her business future.
