After 20 years of experience in interiors , Ballinhassig born and bred Maura Mackey set up her interior design business in November 2019. She helps clients nationally and internationally turn new and tired properties into well designed beautiful spaces that work for them and enhance their wellbeing while incorporating the biophilic design concept.  She also stages properties for sale. She turned the negative of a global pandemic into an opportunity to upskill and enhanced her list of services through online offerings.

Today we chat about turning her part time hobby into her full time career, her passion for biophilic design, the importance of function, her design process, the benefits of challenges and how every day is a school day.
