Stephen Hayes is a fine art photographer from Clonakilty where he strives to put his stamp on his native West Cork landscapes. Stephen, a father to two beautiful children, left the world of accounting in 2019 to start his new adventure. He uses long exposures and minimalism to capture not what is there, but what he can see.
Stephen’s focus on exceptional in-camera composition results in superior quality prints. He also holds regular photography workshops for novice photographers at some of West Cork’s most beautiful beaches. If you want to learn more, visit his website.
In this episode, we discuss his love for the whole photography process, his love/hate relationship with Instagram, evolution of his business, local supports and inspirations and we get the answer to the ultimate question.
