Nina Cait Gilbert Profile Picture

Nina Cáit Gilbert, a Limerick School of Art and Design graduate has been working as a graphic designer for the last 17 years, cutting her teeth in Cork city before moving to London for five years where she designed brochures for West End shows. Nina returned to Clonakilty in 2015 to pursue her interest in branding. She has designed some recognisable brands from Inchydoney Candles to Rugs.ie.

She works from home with her three children and journalist husband and says she is extremely fortunate to design for local talent and represent their work through branding, from logos to packaging. 

In this episode , we discuss how she got involved in the creative world, leaving her dream job behind, her love for what she does and the challenges she faces, inspiring local brands and the importance of keeping things simple.
