Cork has a long established reputation for its outstanding food producers. In recent years, wonderfully crafted Cork beers and spirits have come to the market that accentuate that reputation. With that in mind, we have decided to run our first series on Craft drinks producers, here in Cork.
In the course of this series, we speak to Paul from Clonakilty Distillery, Terra from West Cork Brewing Company, Séamus from Cape Clear Island Distillery, Daniel from Stonewell Cider & Géraldine from Novohal Apple Wines and learn about their passion for authentic, local ingredients, their focus on a high quality end product and the collaborative nature of the craft drinks industry.
We have spoken to many local creatives and business people and have listened to some great advice and lessons learnt. With that in mind, we have decided to do a series on local business supports and delve into the local offerings that can aid both new and established business.
In this series, we speak to Kevin Curran from the Local Enterprise Office, Fiona Ryan from The Ludgate Hub in Skibbereen, Peter Walsh from Brookpark Business Centre in Dunmanway, Arran O’Driscoll from Clonakilty Credit Union and Rachel Kelleher from Mix Coworking in Clonakilty to learn about what help is available to business and their advice for setting up and running a successful business.

Flux Learning is a company fuelled by caffeine. We take our coffee seriously so for our forth series, we took the opportunity to broaden our knowledge and learn some insights into the coffee roasting industry in Cork city and county.
We speak to Brock Lewin from Badger & Dodo, Tony Speight from West Cork Coffee, duo John Boyle and Tom Edwards from Stone Valley and Susan Casey from Velo. So sit back, relax and enjoy a fresh brew as we learn about them, their business and the buzz around coffee.
